A Summer camp where Fayette Youth come together to worship King Jesus and SURGE the city with service for the Kingdom in His name.

Last year we enjoyed camp at the Country Place with 100+ students. Pastor Derek Ewalt preached the Word of God and our own praise team led us in song. We had our first ever Lip- sync competition and talent show as well as our annual 3v3basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Teamcolor competitions and more.

We are looking forward to Surge 2023 and all that God will do in and through us. We will be at The Grove at Red Oak lake. Pastor Jarman Leatherwood will be preaching and our own praise team will be leading times of worship.

MORNING MISSIONS

Each morning students will be sent out on mission into the community with their peers and leader. Mission efforts may include Bible Club, sport camp, yard work, construction, painting, etc. Over the years, morning missions has become one of our students’ favorite parts of camp. Not only are they being Evangelized with the Gospel, Engaged on their level, Equipped from the Word, but also Encouraged by having the opportunity to apply it on a mission site. Statistically, serving students are staying students. Allowing and inviting teenagers to take part in BEING the local church is part of our mission and purpose in student ministry.

Pray for the Lord to use your student to be His hands and feet during Surge ’23!

SERVICES

Sunday- Wednesday nights we will have worship services in the auditorium at The Grove at Red Oak Lake. Pastor Jarman Leatherwood is a dynamic preacher and will be engaging everyone present with Biblical truth. Our own praise team will be leading music each night. We are blessed to have a praise team that does not bring glory to themselves but points people to Jesus.

Following each service we will break into small groups to discuss the sermon, ask questions, and celebrate what God is teaching them.

Afternoons offer times of recreation including team sports such as volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and more. Students can also swim in the pool, play on the lake, enjoy a snack, or just hang out with friends.
